Evan is 10 months old today!! He's cuter then ever with his all gum smile and chipmunk cheeks. He's making more sounds and can scootch where ever he wants. He's an insane mama's boy right now and is starting to eat little bites of bread and such. On Saturday Evan had his first horsie ride on "Liza" the white horse. It went something like this:
Evan gets handed off to Wolfgang and cries....
Lets let mama put him on the horse, Evan cries...
then he meets Liza face to face with some loving touches then we try again, Evan sits on the sattle and mommy holds him....then we held him on the saddle while Liza walks the sand pit...Evan smiles....successful ride....

The baby back-pack

Mom and Dad, I just wanted to thank you again for getting us the baby-back-pack. It has helped so much in our hiking and traveling trips. Evan doesn't seem to mind the ride and it's just the easiest mode of travel for him. We just go too many places that a stroller would be impossible so it lets us take him almost anywhere we want. We love it! Thanks again.

T.V. Stars

O.K., so here is a news story that aired on Armed Forces Network in August about a gig we did in the town of Bibione, Italy as part of our 2008 Summer Tour. As you can see, this band kicks butt. The crowed numbered in the thousands and we rocked them ALL!

This particular incarnation of Touch n' Go has only been together for about 2 months now, and I can tell that there are great things in store!

Our camping trip continued....

The Little Angel asleep bundled up for a quick day time nap in the tent while mommy reads....

Our view from our campsite in Swiss

We hiked up to this waterfall across from our camp and spotted our tent...it's the little green dot in the open field next to the brown building...can you find it?? All the other campers had moved out for the weekend and we had the last night pretty much to ourselves

Jamie multi-tasking....I was nursing and blowing up the air-mattress inside the tent.

The beach at Italy

beach Italy

Pisa, Italy

One of the huge lakes in town near the campsite, the town was Interlaken, Switzerland. The water was this unique bluish, greenish color-it was beautiful the color is caused by a mineral-cobalt I think...we stopped to put our feet in and test the water it is also known for being so clean.

Evan playing in the tent after getting up one morning...

Evan's first play-time in the tent when John set it up. He made himself right at home.

Our Camping Trip

This is Evan's first taste of the beach--Very close to Pisa, Italy
He seemed to really love the beach and he didn't try to taste it which was nice to not have to deal with, he just was very curious about the sand, it was so cute

Driving through-or should I say to the top-of a mountain in Switzerland on our way to Italy. We had no idea that Switzerland was so beautiful

Swiss---We camped in Lauterbrunnen which was pretty close to a town called Interlaken and we checked the town out and this was one of it's views...

We are still in Germany....

Sadly, John and I will not be coming home this month (unless someone wants to give us 4, 200 bucks) to get to the states....The planes were full and no one had luck getting out. So the next morning after getting back from the terminal nightmare...John got me up and made me pack for a "budget camping trip" He booked some camp site in Switzerland and said we are going to try it out and take what comes.....We were both so down and bummed driving, just wanting to be with family and trying not to think about how sad the girls were and how dissapointed all the family was. And then the drive started to get really beautiful....I mean REALLY breath-taking. So after such an aweful let down of not returning to America-all of a sudden we thought maybe camping wouldn't be so bad and it really ended up being great. We got away from the world for a little bit and it really lifted our spirits. Pictures and video to come later tonight but we're headed to the big base so John can get some stripes sewn on for work in a few days then he leaves for England (wish I could go). more to come.....
Rob and Kelly: I'm so sorry we couldn't get there and I have something for a special birthday girl....I will put it in the mail this week but I was hoping to have given it to her in person so anyway hope things are going well.....

Stuck in Germany

So.....we are both still in Germany, at the moment--no luck gettting out yet....We will try our luck tomarrow on the rotator and hopefully get out....We're starting to get worried that we are not going to get out in time to spend any time with anyone! John has to be back very soon and neither one of us can get stuck in the states, if we do get out. The rumor is that it's taking a week and a half of staying in BWI just to get back to Germany...so if you do the math...we can't take the trip...but we are chancing it anyway....we are brave--or just stupid either way, We just really want to visit so we will see what Tuesday brings....Our vacation is burning while we wait at these stupid terminals....I hope we are lucky...I will keep everyone updated.....
