Not only did we decide to go to Brugge on Sunday rather then stay in Brussels, John took me on one last detour before we had to head back to Germany, he took me to the Sea. We ended up not to far from the city of Brugge at the North Sea in a town called Heist. The second my feet hit the sand a few tears dropped. It was so awesome to be at the beach, in Europe on just a little weekend get-away....so unexpected but something I needed badly. The sand was really powdery, it was insanely windy that day. We were able to stay for about 2 hours and then on our way home....We ended up in Gonbach at 2 am oh well the last stop was more then worth it.

I'm soooo glad that you guys had such a great trip. John couldn't stop talking about it last week! I think he was s-u-p-e-r excited!!!! Next time.... leave John at home and take me! Deal?
