I'm so proud of these gals, Only two of the older girls spoke just a little english and we managed to get an entire routine together for the Gonbach Kerwe this year. We probably held less then 20 short practices and with my minimal german we did it. Only one of the girls had any dance background- but they had all heart and it was a joy to work with them and get to know them.
Tonight we performed at halftime for the opening soccer match in town. We've also been invited to be in the parade on sunday and dance at the end.
This is the hat they presented to me along with tickets for the girls and I to go see a dance performance in Nov
I am so excited to go
